A RARE MING CARVED LONGQUAN CELADON YUHUCHUNPING

Crisply carved to pear-shaped body with a continuous lotus meander growing on a dense foliate scroll, between cloud-collars, demi-florettes, clasissic scroll and key-fret bands on the shoulder and to the base of the everted neck, the base encircled by stiff lotus petals enclosing pendent trefoils and another band of key-fret around the foot, covered overall in a rich bubble suffused olive-green glaze (neck and rim replaced, drill hole to the base)--12 1/2in. (32cm.) high
