Carved in imitations of an archaic bronze colour container, tulu, the body of rectangular outline with rounded corners rising above the pad feet, with a register of confronted archaistic dragons above another with shou characters, with reticulated strap handles to either side, the cover with four coiled chilong suporting the dragon finial, the stone of translucent mottled white tone with russet patches to the surface (tiny nicks to rims)--5 3/4in.
