GRIEG MELBOURNE AUSTRALIA, with six planet arms, the ivorine planet balls each half-painted black, Mercury, Venus, Earth with wire arm for Moon ball, Mars, Jupiter with four moons and Saturn with ivorine rings and six moons, the horizontal plate with glazed colour reproduced Zodiac circle, in the form of the northern celestial hemisphere, the ecliptic pole beneath the central rod, the constellations colourfully depicted by beasts and figures, within a brass band stamped with days of the houses of the Zodiac and the month, on an ebonised wooden horizontal plate holding the geared mechanism beneath with ivorine turning handle, raised on three baluster turned legs terminating in bun feet -- 20½in.
