A fine series of plates, more usually found with Empson's Narratives of South America, 8°, 1836. The Abbey copy included two additional views, which are not required by the title, but do appear in a number of other sets. The present series may represent an early issue of the plates, before the addition of the extra plates. Cf. Abbey Travel 702.
