The upper band of naskh contains Persian benedictory verses and a short Arabic benedictory sequence. The lower reserved band contains a Persian quatrain:
May your wealth and glory be always increasing,
May your prosperity surpass all limits,
So that whatever reaches your palate from this bottle,
O master of the World, adds to your life.
May the Creator of the World protect
The owner of this [bottle], wherever he may be.
