Each shaped cartouche mirror engraved with an armoured knight, one holding aloft the head of a dragon, within a ribbon-wrapped reeded surround and elaborate rocaille rockwork and acanthus frame with overhanging flower-filled asymmetrical basket above, flanked to each side by eagles on a plinth and with an Apollo's mask below, one inscribed in red chalk 175/44 and in yellow chalk F213, the other 175/70 in red chalk and F213 in yellow chalk, both rebacked
