The above bracelet was commissioned by Grand Duke Alexander Mikhailovich at the Fabergé firm as a present to his wife, Grand Duchess Xenia Alexandrovna (daughter of the Dowager Maria Feodorovna) for the birth of their son, Grand Duke Andrei Alexandrovich on January 12, 1897.
