A Meissen Kakiemon dish
painted in a typical palette with a central stylised flowerhead below branches of flowering prunus, chrysanthemum and pomegranate, further scattered blossoms and two tied sheafs of corn below a brown-line rim, blue crossed swords mark, circa 1735 (two cracks running from the rim, further hairline cracks and a minor patch of rubbing to enamel and other very light rubbing) -- 25.5cm. diam.
