The top crossbanded in tulipwood, inset with a tooled leather panel within a laurel leaf border with berries, with projecting rounded corners, containing a central frieze drawer flanked by four drawers to either side inlaid with foliate scrolls between stop-fluted angles, on tapering legs with brass caps and castors, the sides and the back inlaid with panels of neo classical foliate marquetry with urns and garlands
