The wines prduced by Kevin Judd and his team at Cloudy Bay took only a few years to become recognised world wide. However the quality and style of these wines should not be underestimated with the Sauvignon Blanc from nearly any vintage being rated as among the best wines in the world. In fact this flagship wine of Cloudy Bay has done more to raise the reputation of Marlborough Sauvignon than any other wine. In 1990 Veuve Clicquot purchased a large proportion of the enterprise and subsequently have added their expertise in the production of some fantastic Sparkling wine.
