A Vienna circular documentary portrait plaque
1800, signed and dated
Painted by Michael Auer, with a young lady seated on an Empire lit d'alcove with winged female supports, wearing a purple dress and with her right breast revealed, holding a sheet of writing paper in her right hand, the top of the page inscribed Hatie co (?) 1800, a harp behind her (probably cut down from a larger object) in a contemporary giltwood frame
