Circa 1800, red stencilled marks, various incised marks
Brightly painted with large ribbon-tied bouquets of pink roses and spirally-fluted urns supporting trophies emblematic of hunting, gardening, love and music, divided by elaborate foliage scrolls and pendant garlands, between gilt band borders, comprising:
A shaped quatrefoil tray, the galleried sides with gilt band rim (very slight extended firing crack to rim)
A cylindrical teapot and cover, with angular ear-shaped handle and waisted neck, the shallow domed cover with gilt ball finial (areas of minute wear to gilding)
An oviform hot-milk jug with helmet-shaped spout and loop handle
A bucket-shaped sugar-bowl with a gilt ring handles, the flat cover with waisted sides and gilt cone finial
A cylindrical coffee-can (section of handle broken through and restuck)
