TWO GREEK POTTERY HEAD OINOCHOAI
Canosan, Circa Early 3rd Century B.C.
Each mold-made with fleshy lips, large lidded eyes, and wavy locks center-parted, the long cylindrical neck, trefoil mouth and high ridged strap handle black-glazed, with added white vertical rays, a thick band of white on one, a band of egg on the other, the heads white slipped with added pigment, red for the lips and hair, black for the eyes, red earrings on one, blue earrings on the other, one with a red net at the back of the head
