Comprising a mantel clock and a pair of vases: the clock surmounted by the figure of a seated sculptor, holding chisel and hammer, the fluted black marble case cast with trailing vines and centred by the circular dial, with gilt Roman numerals and hands, signed CHARPENTIER & CIE/BRONZIER/A PARIS/RUE CHARLOT, 8, the twin-train movement with countwheel striking on a bell, on shaped base; the vases after the Warwick model, cast with bearded masks and with a pair of entwined loop handles, on fluted base and shaped plinth
The clock: 16 in. (40.6 cm.) wide; 26½ in. (67.3 cm.) high; 10¾ in. (27.3 cm.) deep
