The steeply-domed cover with turned finial, above the waisted neck richly-gilt with foliage, above the tapering body painted to one side with a scene depicting a couple in early nineteenth century dress and to the other with a riverscape view, on circular spreading foliate gilt foot and shaped fluted plinth
