A faint inscription on the reverse of this likeness reads, Millie Corp taken when 6 years old. The label fragment on verso of the frame originally read, P. Durkee & Son, Booksellers, 124 Broadway, Saratoga Springs, N.Y. P. Durkee & Son were listed in the 1862 Visitor's Guide and Directory for Saratoga Springs.
