Each with a shaped toprail carved with acanthus above a pierced Gothic splat, the stiles carved with rockwork, with a padded drop-in seat covered in Green velvet on Gothic-panelled square chamferred legs joined by H-shaped stretchers, one chair inscribed in chalk to the underside '197' and in pencil '25.2.46', one stretcher broken, one splat restored, one chair with replacements to top of front legs (2)
