Crossbanded and inlaid overall with quarter-veneered panels, the waved rectangular top above a hinged shaped slope framed with C-scrolls and rockwork bands, with a gilt-tooled green leather writing-surface to the reverse, enclosing a fitted interior with four shaped drawers and four open compartments above a well, above a shaped frieze with two drawers, on cabriole legs headed by foliate rockwork clasps and on foliate sabots, stamped JME and CI DUFOUR twice, remounted
