of rounded square form, with mythical beast head handles and moulded bands of taotie masks and stylised beasts on key fret grounds, the sides incised with Arabic inscriptions, the gold splashes on a patinated ground -- 14.1/8in. (36cms) high, archaic four character mark to base, 18th century.
