Gold lacquer ground; decoration in gold, silver and red hiramaki-e and togidashi-e, tortoiseshell and ivory, and in overlay of gold, silver and other metals; risers gold nashiji; compartments, shoulders and rims gold lacquer; signed in gold hiramaki-e underneath Kajikawa saku [made by Kajikawa] and in incised characters on an inlaid gold plaque Yanagawa Naotsune; dull gold-lacquered ojime and netsuke
