Each hexagonal boss incrusted with a bust-length portrait of either Napoleon I in the guise of Ceasar after Andrieu F, labelled below, or Czar Alexander I in the guise of Ceasar by Desprez, after an Andrieu medal of 1814, encompassed within variant moulded strapwork on a seeded ground, raised on gadrooned feet
