Each center with an incrusted bust-length portrait, including: Napoleon in the guise of Ceasar; Napoleon in the guise of a Colonel of the Guard; Napoleon depicted jointly with Marie-Louise; and Lafayette in civil dress, the Napoleonic medallions with scalloped beaded rims, the reverse moulded with a field of strawberry-diamonds bordered by fans terminating and alternating with circlets, Lafayette's border similar but slightly variant, all pierced at the top for hanging
