Berlin, 1760, the silver mounts with indistinct marks
Rectangular white enamel on copper box, the slightly domed cover painted with a military map of Berlin and its suburbs showing the siege of Berlin by the Russians and Austrians during the Seven Years' War, in 1760, the sides painted with plundering Russian soldiers, the base with a scroll inscribed with the calendar of the events in Berlin between 3 and 13 October 1760, the wavy silver mounts and incorporated slightly raised thumbpiece engraved with reeded c-scrolls and flowers, wavy flange, the inside of the cover painted in sepia with the Royal Prussian Arsenal in Berlin plundered by the Russians on 20 October 1760
