Of George I style, the rectangular gadrooned back surmounted by three shaped foliate-wrapped cartouches, each surmounted by a Duke's coronet, above a padded back and seat with three cushions and two bolster cushions, upholstered in ivory foliate silk damask with out-curving gadrooned scrolled arms with acanthus terminals, on square tapered stop-fluted legs headed by gadrooned blocks shaped by gadrooned stretchers, re-gilt
