Bando Toshio was a contemporary of Tsuguji Foujita, and was also active in Paris. He exhibited extensively during the twenties and early thirties at the Salon d'Automne (1922-26), Salon des Tuileries (1923-24) and the Salon des Independants (1929-32) in Paris.
