Private George Le Sauvage, aged 34 years, of St. Peter in the Wood, was killed in action on 1.12.1917 at Cambrai. His brother Ernest, serving with the 7/Royal Irish Fusiliers, was also killed in action but on 1.5.1916 and is commemorated on Cambrai Memorial.
