Sold with considerable biographical detail appertaining to the Brockington family; together with original photographs, including a framed portrait of Lieutenant Brockington; and his Memorial Scroll.

Lieutenant Conrad Clive Brockington, aged 18 years, the son of the Reverend A.A. Brockington, was killed in action on 8.9.1916 during the attack on High Wood on the Somme, and is commemorated on Thiepval Memorial. The 2nd Welsh attacked with the 1st Gloucesters and took 208 casualties of all ranks.
