The circular glazed enamelled dial with Roman and Arabic numerals with later pierced brass hands, set within a drum entwined by pierced trailing foliage mounted with porcelain flowers and issuing naturalistically-cast candlearms, on a pierced assymetric base cast with balustrading and rocaille C-scrolls, the tulipwood and kingwood serpentine-fronted parquetry base on later ebonized bun feet, the later movement with silk-suspended pendulum and strike on a bell, lacking backplate, stamped five times with the 'C' couronn poinon
