An interesting manuscript, consisting of the first part of a general survey or outline of the structure of French government and the various offices of each tat, touching on all domains subject to government regulation, from the military to the various branches of industry and commerce, commissioned and bound for Claude Le Peletier, successor to Colbert as Minister of Finance, a post that he filled from 1683 to 1689.
