[2], 38 pages, 4to, written in a very small neat hand, followed by 6 pages of roughly jotted poems or songs apparently by the same hand, and a half-page fingering chart for a wind instrument, contemporary calf, quite worn, plate 22 torn, some soiling and browning. Calligraphic title within fine large pen-and-ink ornamental border, FULL-PAGE COAT-OF-ARMS IN INK AND WATERCOLOR, 37 finely executed fold-out ink and watercolor drawings of plans and profiles of military fortifications, the last a plan of Belgrade, chapter headings within pen-and-ink scrolls, two tailpiece pencil drawings of flowers, one nearly completed in watercolor, the second unfinished, all pages and folding plans within rule borders.
