In the Paul de Lamerie style, circular on spreading base chased with a band of acanthus and scrolls against diaperwork, applied with vertical foliate scroll straps below a mid-rib and chased above with a band of strapwork enclosing diaperwork, with two leaf-capped matted scroll handles and domed cover with conforming decoration and baluster finial, the side engraved with a coat-of-arms, marked on side and cover--21 1/2in. (54.5cm.) high
