A 4-inch (10.2cm.) diameter tin lunar globe made up of twelve chromolithographed paper gores showing detailed landscape of the moon, the equatorial graduated in degrees, various mountains, seas and landing points shown, printed with TENTATIVE APOLLO TIMETABLE for flights 11 to 19, many never carried out, detailing date (1969-1974), flight commander, lunar module pilot and commanding ship pilot, signed in the northern hemisphere in black felt-tip pen by Gene Cernan Apollo XVII, with moulded blue plastic meridian half circle divided in two quadrants and graduated in degrees, on circular ebonised tin base with sticker underneath for MADE IN JAPAN -- 6.1/8in.
