The author's name is misspelled in the catalogue: the correct name is Johann Gottfried Zinn (1727-1759). Zinn's treatise, Descriptio anatomica oculi humani was published in Gttingen in 1755. Besides Arrachart's French translation of Zinn's treatise, the present manuscript contains Arrachart's comments on a discussion between Antoine Demours and Jean Descemet of the nature of the cornea.
