The white marble top above an egg-and-dart-cast frieze and a pair of drawers headed by a Minerva mask above laurel branches, with central panel inlaid sans traverse with a marquetry of ewer and basket of fruit and flowers, above a fleur de lys-studded globe supported on crossed cornucopiae and oak branches, flanked to each side by a foliate parquetry panel headed with floral swag, above putti emblematic of Justice and Temperance, the rounded sides each with a parquetry-inlaid cupboard door hung with floral swags and ribbon-suspended military trophies, the angles mounted with figures emblematic of Mars, Hercules, Temperance and Prudence, on square tapering acanthus-mounted feet
