Two chinese blue and white 'Vung Tau Cargo' jars and covers
Circa 1690
One of slender baluster shape, moulded and painted with bands of petal panels enclosing flower stems, repeated on the domed cover - 25cm. high; and an ovoid jar painted with vertical panels of standing ladies and jardinires, between various flower-sprays on the domed base, shoulder and cylindrical neck, the domed covers surmounted by knop finial - 25cm. high (some restorations) (2)
