Oval and on cast and chased shell, scroll and laurel feet, the sides with broad flutes and panel of pierced and engraved scrolls and foliage, engraved twice with monogram on applied cartouche, with shell and flower border, with two laurel leaf-capped bracket handles each terminating in lion's mask, with detachable plain dish and plated liner, marked on base and cover, with retailer's signature 'DUPONCHEL A PARIS'
