Louis-Philippe d'Orlans (1773-1850), son of beheaded 'Philippe-Egalit' and his wife Louise-Marie de Bourbon-Penthivre, married Princess Marie-Amlie of Bourbon-Naples in 1809. He became King of the French in 1830 after the abdication of King Charles X and reigned until the Revolution of 1848. He died at Claremont, formerly the home of Princess Charlotte and Prince Leopold.
