Twenty-five unpublished 35mm colour transparencies and two 35mm dupe transparencies, four with corresponding enlarged colour prints, each -- 7x5in. (17.8x12.7cm.), the shots taken at the première of How I Won The War, The Pavillion Theatre, London on October 18th, 1967, subjects include:
-- Four portraits of John Lennon, three showing Lennon standing in front of the poster for the film
-- John and Cynthia in the foyer
-- Two portraits of Paul McCartney
-- McCartney and Jane Asher
-- Three shots of George and Patti Harrison and another close-up of George
-- Ringo and Maureen Starr and a close-up of Ringo
-- The Beatles and their partners sitting in the front row of the dress circle
-- Individual shots of film director Dick Lester, Cilla Black -- both standing in front of the poster for the film, Scott Walker, Anita Harris, Mama Cass Elliott, Manfred Mann, Spencer Davis, David Hemmings (2), Paul and Barry Ryan

The photographer recalls that the première of Lennon's film provided one of the few occasions when The Beatles were seen together in public at this period.
