For the painting of Mathilde Lindemans and her children, done as a pendant to the portrait of her husband, Jan Bienens, Heer van Montfoort. Both were sold at Christie's, London, 1 June 1932, lot 27, now in the Los Angeles County Museum, Catalogue of Paintings, Los Angeles, 1954, II, no. 16, illustrated. The pictures are traditionally attributed to Cornelis de Vos, but Carl Depauw has kindly pointed out that Kathelijne van der Stighelen has tentatively suggested an alternative attribution to Peter Thys (1614-1678).
