In the 1930-31 Scottish Cup final played at Hampden Park on 11th April 1931 before 105,000 spectators, Celtic and Motherwell drew 2-2. In the replay, again played at Hampden Park, on 15th April 1931 before 98,579 spectators, Celtic defeated Motherwell 4-2.
