LOU GEHRIG YANKEE CAP
A baseball cap worn by Yankee legend Lou Gehrig. The Spalding model felt baseball cap features 7 1/8 L. Gehrig stitched in green thread upon the inner leather strip. Cap was given to Dr. Paul O'Leary of the Mayo Clinic in the late nineteen thirties (probably 1939). In excellent condition with no discoloration.
