Circa 1754
Painted in the Kakiemon palette with prunus and bamboo issuing from banded hedges, the reverse with a flowering plant and scattered flowerheads beneath an iron-red line border with pendant pink flowerheads and iron-red tendrils (extended crack to back with small piece lacking, slight glaze blemish to shoulder at back)
