A Victorian epergne or centrepiece
and set of four matching dessert stands, in the Neo-Classical style on openwork laurel foliate supports, terminating in paw feet and supporting a pierced frieze of fruiting, foliate scrolls between borders of braiding, the centrepiece oval with four reeded stretchers supporting a cast putto finial, the dessert stands circular with three reeded stretchers supporting pineapple finials, by Elkington & Co., Birmingham 1893, fitted with cut-glass bowls, the large bowl, A/F and three of the smaller ones probably replacements, (one with a small chip), the centrepiece 31cm wide - 24.5cm high overall, 97oz weighable silver.
