The later shaped moulded brêche d'alep marble top above a frieze drawer, the waved rectangular fall front enclosing a fitted serpentine bois satine and tulipwood interior with two shelves and ten small drawers, the leather-lined writing surface with a late burr-walnut venneer frame, above a further pair of doors enclosing one shelf and two compartiments, the sides similarly inlaid , the waved apron oncabriole legs with foliate sabots, some fitted drawers with ink inscriptions to the sides 'BERTH' 'PINEL' 'MIGNG', extensive restorations, one interior drawer relined in pine and possibly originally with a coffre-fort, bearing false stamp twice to each side of the back of the carcase 'MIGEON'.
