Banded overall in amaranth, the moulded serpentine-fronted rectangular top above three frieze-drawers, the central one fitted as a coffre fort, above two long drawers, the keeled angles with pierced espagnolette masks above rockwork and foliage mounts with a ram's head, the sides with panels inlaid à quatre face, the shaped apron centred by a pierced rockwork and foliate mount, on bracket feet with pierced foliate scrolled sabots, inscribed in chalk '2853' to the reverse, restorations, the top drawers previously with divides, the mounts stamped with the C-couronné poinon
