Purdey/Beesley self-opening actions, non-selective single-triggers, cocking-indicators, best engraving of bold acanthus-scrollwork with full colour-hardened and blued finish, the maker's name signed in gold on the undersides of the action-bodies and on the lockplates, the triggerplates signed 'CASBARD', boldly-figured stocks, the chopper-lump barrels with game-ribs
