The solid cylindrical brushpot inset with stained ivory, mother-of- pearl, malachite, rose quartz and agate appliques to depict a pair of quails below arched bamboo springing up from rockwork beside branches of pomegranate and multi-coloured flowers (minor losses, replaced) 7 in. (17.6 cm.) diam.
