A HOPI COTTONWOOD KACHINA DOLL
Wearing a faded linen waist cloth, with black yarn decoration wrapping between legs with yellow flap, red dyed horse hair also extending from sash, body painted black, wearing red moccasins, pink pigment on the lower calves and arms, arms articulated and held forward with white armbands around the top, case mask with "pop eyes" and protruding beak mouth, semicircular red ears with feathers, circular straw crown attached to top of mask with yarn, holding a whip with attachment at end in right arm and shield
