The quarter-veneered rectangular crossbanded top inlaid with boxwood and green-stained lines and with pierced three-quarter gallery, above three drawers, the top drawer enclosing a green leather-lined writing- surface, above a well and three small wells, the sides with foliate mounts, above a shaped apron and on tapering cabriole legs joined by a pierced galleried platform stretcher, with C-scroll and foliate sabots, remounted, the back veneered in rosewood in the early 19th Century, with plugged hole on the inside of the writing-drawer
