Late 18th/early 19th Century
The rectangular inset split-caned seat over-upholstered in blue velvet faded to brown, with a purple and gold silk border, the frame carved with swagged foliage, above a frieze carved with a blue flowerhead pattern, on octagonal reeded tapering legs with lion-paw feet, inscribed in white paint on the amaranth seat-rail 6.F.T.W., some losses and overall cracking
